A short trip to visit family in New Zealand turns into a long and exciting adventure. 

Kiwis, Nick and Tamara came to NZ in January with their twins Milena and Daniel. They were caught off guard by the Covid-19 lockdown (like the rest of the world!), which meant staying longer and figuring it out as they went. 

So Nick an entrepreneur, was determined to find a way to survive this crisis and have an income again and decided to embrace the lousy situation make the best of the situation.

He realised the potential of selling hair cutting tools at a time when people’s growing hair cannot get a cut and started GetACut.co.nz, an online shop where fellow kiwis are able to purchase hair clippers, shavers, beard trimmers, ear and nose trimmers, straighteners and other hair related tools to keep kiwi heads presentable.

Nick wanted to make sure all kiwis can be looked after during the lockdown and beyond.

Started mid April, the Get A Cut store now has grown into one of New Zealand's leading personal care and grooming tools shops. 

Now they've settled in NZ and are not heading anywhere for the foreseeable future. They love their new lives in New Zealand.
