Philips Sonicare DiamondClean 9000 in Black, with app (HX9914/75). A smart sonic toothbrush for everyday plaque control, gentle whitening and gum care — with a pressure sensor, BrushSync head recognition, 4 modes and up to 14 days per charge.
Who it's for. Suits anyone who wants a closer clean than a manual brush, especially if you travel (USB charging travel case), want app coaching, or prefer one all-in-one head rather than swapping heads for whitening and gum care. Sensitive mouths can drop to Low intensity; stain-focused brushers can use White+.
In the box: 1 × DiamondClean 9000 handle (Black), 1 × A3 Premium All-in-One brush head, charging travel case, charging base and glass. Takes Sonicare click-on brush heads.
Philips 90-day money-back guarantee. Philips offers a 90-day money-back guarantee on eligible NZ purchases of this model (Sonicare DiamondClean). See Philips NZ terms.
Up to 20× more plaque removal

Philips says the A3 Premium All-in-One head removes up to 20× more plaque*, supports up to 15× healthier gums in six weeks***, and removes up to 100% more stains in under two days****, versus a manual toothbrush. Multi-angle bristles keep cleaning on course even if your technique isn't perfect.
You get one A3 head in the box — enough for complete care without buying separate whitening or gum heads unless you want them.

62,000 movements a minute

Sonicare Fluid Action drives fluid between the teeth and along the gumline at up to 62,000 bristle movements per minute. The clean feels gentle but thorough — useful if you've been used to scrubbing hard with a manual brush.
Pressure sensor

Brush too hard and the handle vibrates and pulses so you ease off and protect your gums. Pair that with Low intensity if your gums are tender. Philips also claims whiter teeth in one day** (lab study; results may vary).
How to use the 4 modes

Four modes × three intensities (High / Medium / Low) = 12 settings. Cycle modes on the handle; set intensity to match comfort.
- Clean — everyday 2-minute clean. Start here.
- White+ — helps lift surface stains; longer front-tooth focus.
- Gum Health — gentler, longer pass with more time on the gums and back teeth.
- Deep Clean+ — invigorating deeper clean (app-connected length can differ from offline).
BrushPacer and SmarTimer nudge you around the mouth so you don't linger in one spot. Optional Sonicare app (Bluetooth 4.0+, iPhone or Android) adds guided brushing and progress reports — the brush works fully without the app.
Charging, travel case and battery

Up to 14 days of regular brushing per full charge (lithium-ion). Charge on the glass + base at home, or in the travel case when you're away. Works on 100–240 V.
- Seat the handle fully in the glass or case until the charge indicator responds.
- For travel, charge the case first so the brush tops up on the go.
- A full charge from empty can take several hours — overnight on the glass is simplest.
- Don't store it flat-empty for months; top it up every few weeks if unused.

Brush heads and how to care for them

Ships with the A3 Premium All-in-One. Fits any Sonicare click-on head. Smart heads (icon on the stem) use BrushSync to pick mode/intensity and remind you when to replace.
- Philips recommends a new head about every 3 months, or sooner if bristles splay.
- Rinse the head under the tap after each use; shake dry. Don't boil or dishwasher it.
- Pull straight off to remove; click firmly to refit — don't twist.
- Other options: W3 / W2 (whitening), G3 (gums), C3 / C2 (plaque). We stock genuine Philips heads.

Cleaning the handle

- Wipe the handle with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh cleaners or solvents.
- Don't put the handle, glass or case in the dishwasher.
- Keep the charge contacts clean and dry so charging stays reliable.
- If the brush has been in the shower, dry the base before docking.
