Remington replacement blade for the HC4250AU Rapid Cut clipper. Genuine removable blade set for the Remington Rapid Cut hair clipper HC4250AU.

Who it’s for. HC4250AU owners whose blade is damaged, dull or pulling — swap the blade cartridge and keep cutting.

Will it fit? Remington HC4250AU Rapid Cut. Got the HC4300AU Rapid Cut Turbo instead? Use the SP-HC4300AU-B blade. Also for HC4250AU: power adaptor SP-HC4250AU-PA and 1.5mm comb SP-HC4250AU-1.5.

Fitting the blade
  1. Switch off and unplug the clipper
  2. Push the removable blade cartridge outward and away from the clipper, using the thumb pad
  3. Align the new blade set on the clipper and push it towards the body until it clicks into place
Care tips
  • Recommended to rinse after each use: keep the clipper running under the tap so water runs through the washout port and over the blades (never while plugged in)
  • For a more thorough clean, remove the blade set and wash out the trimmings
  • Dry the blades, then put a small drop of cutter or sewing machine oil at each end and the middle of the blades, run for a few seconds and wipe off the excess
  • Keep the blades lubricated after contact with water
HC4250AU guide combs

The HC4250AU came with 9 guide combs, which hook onto the front teeth of the wide blade:

  • 1 (Grade 0) — 1.5mm
  • 2 — 2mm
  • 3 — 2.5mm
  • 4 (Grade 1) — 3mm
  • 5 — 4.5mm
  • 6 (Grade 2) — 6mm
  • 7 (Grade 3) — 9mm
  • 8 (Grade 4) — 12mm
  • 9 (Grade 5) — 15mm

Without a comb the blade trims to about 1mm (0.5mm with the blades held perpendicular to the skin).
