Who it’s for. Owners of Remington X-System dual foil shavers whose shave has started to pull, irritate or lose closeness.
Will it fit? Yes if your shaver is a Remington F4900AU, F5800AU or F7800AU (X-System dual foil). The model number is on the back of the handle. It won't fit the Titanium Pivot & Flex F5790/F7790. Those take SP-390.
When to replace
- Remington recommends replacing foils and cutters about every 6 months for the best shave
- Irritation: worn foils can irritate, especially noticeable when you apply aftershave or moisturiser
- Pulling or loss of closeness is a sign the cutters are worn
Care tips
- Brush or rinse hair out of the head after each shave
- Lubricate the cutters regularly with a light shaver oil or Remington Shaver Saver (SP4)
- Handle foils gently — they are thin and dent easily
